There’s something undeniably magical about stained glass and the way light pours through vibrant color. At AEC Creativeworks, we’re thrilled to announce a brand-new creative offering that brings that magic directly into the studio: Glass Art & Stained Glass Design Sessions!

This addition has grown naturally out of Amy's own creative journey. Over the past several months, she has been rediscovering her passion for glass art and exploring light and color alongside a talented local glass artist. That exploration has become inspiration, and now it’s an experience she can’t wait to share with you.

Glass work invites you to slow down, focus, and experiment with color and light. It’s a chance to learn a new craft, expand your artistic skill set, or simply enjoy a few hours of mindful creating. And because each piece is made entirely by hand, the result is something truly one-of-a-kind, like these birds.

What You’ll Do in Our Glass Art Classes

In this hands-on, skill-building class, participants will learn the full process of creating their own stained glass-inspired design. No prior experience needed—just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to try something new!

You’ll explore essential techniques such as:

• Cutting and shaping glass

• Sanding and smoothing edges

• Applying copper foil

• Soldering your design

• Adding artistic wire details

Every participant goes home with a finished piece that reflects their imagination and the beauty of handcrafted glass art.
